Downtown historical center near “Terreiro do Paço” and the Tagus river. This area is defined as “consolidated historic center” with medium high buildings dating hundred years ago, generally occupied by offices (bank, insurances) and public institutions. Good public feature with proximity of schools and universities, excellent access, public parking. This is an area of great touristic interest.
Dates the 18th century and is one of the first examples of the Pombaline earthquake resistant constructions. Since then, it has been the site of the Portuguese custom services. It lies in front of the unloading dock of all arriving cruise liners, which makes it one of the most unique buildings in Lisbon. Has 6 upper floor levels for offices.
